Synopsis:
“Life is just a chance to grow a soul.” Every one of us has a life to live, with our parents, our relatives, our near and dear ones… Some of them are with us, while others have left us and are lost in the sands of time. Their only existence now is in our memories. When we look at an ant hill and see the ants running up and in their daily routine, just like the millions who walk this earth. It makes us think if we really have the time to miss the ones who left us. When our loved ones who are about to leave us and have just a few last breaths left, there comes a “moment” when they get connected with the supernatural. At that moment they just bless us and give us a loving look, that I know and leave silently. “Swami” is a film about this “moment.”

My Conclusion: A movie with a great script, perfect acting by all the actors and overall everything is perfect if your looking for a social movie which you want to watch with your whole family. However this movie was a complete disaster on Box-Office and also its DVD launched in the market after one year from its release, but after watching this movie i realised that there are so many movies releases in this bollywood which really had a strong potential and great story to tell but due to there uninspiring promotion and absence big star cast made them flop on box office. Movie has really emotional touches and simplicity is another factor of the movie that has to be watch on and really everyone should watch it. Strongly recommended from myside.

Sony BMG licenses its Home Video Library to Moserbaer

Sony BMG has licensed the right of 14 movies under its home video segment to Moser Baer for their distribution.

The movies include the likes of Guru, Yuva, Lakshya, Rang De Basanti, Dil Chahta Hai, Mistress of Spices, Balle Balle Amritsar to LA, Bride and Prejudice, Meeanxi, Passion of Christ, Jai Santoshi Maa, two Bengali movies- Manush Bhoot and Aalo and the most recent movie being Jannat.

Sony BMG director marketing Shanujeet Bhujbal said, Moser Baer is a strong player in the home video segment due to its pricing and reach, so we thought it would be nice to have them exploit our catalog to drive big numbers in small towns. Moreover, the home video market has changed drastically due to the new price points and nobody knows how this segment will shape up in future.

However, Sony BMG is not intending to shut its home video shop. Acquisition and distribution of newer titles will continue alongside, and gradually these titles will be redirected to Moser Baer for further exploitation. Moreover, Sony BMG has not passed all its titles to Moser Baer; they chose to retain films from 'Dharma Productions' banner.

Moser Baer will be able to exploit this catalog only for the time balance under the agreement that Sony BMG signed originally with various producers. Moser Baer has already begun to roll out some titles in the market and will be releasing all other titles within a month's time.

The titles Rang De Basanti, Guru, Yuva, Lakshya, Dil Chahta Hai and Jannat are already available in the shops under Moserbaer brand name. And except Jannat, which is priced for Rs. 50/- all other titles are available at a price of Rs 45/- for a single DVD.

With this deal of Moserbaer with Sony BMG, it has again increased its titles number in his catalogue. Before this only, it had 10,000 different titles to offer to consumers which includes both bollywood and regional movies along other documentaries. Last year only it had acquired 1000 titles from Ultra Home Video and that deal made Moserbaer, the largest content owner in Home video Market. Before this, Moserbaer had acquired 30 films from B.R.Chopra which include titles like Baghban, Bhoothnath, Naya Daur and other hits.

Whereas Ultra's catalogue that Moserbaer had acquired, also contains some of the biggest hits like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Sholay, Koi...Mil Gaya, Apna Sapna Money Money, Iqbal and so on.This is not the only story of acquisation of Moserbaer, it has also acquired many other companies before it entered the market. It has acquired 600 titles from Indus Home Video, 550 titles from Bombino Digital, 400 titles from Captain Video, 200 titles from Venus and also titles from Time Home Video and Tips.Moser Baer had also pocketed films from individual producers like Shakti Samanta, Shivaji Ganeshan (AVM) amongst others and also from many other small home video and production companies like Gypsy and others. With this Moserbaer has become the true giant of Bollywood Home Video Library and along that it has also entered regional markets with a bang and made a pan India presence also within a two years entry in the market.

So we consumers are at the profit end with the entry of Moserbaer in the Home Video Segment and i hope this business model of Moserbaer of selling the products at lower price point will curb piracy also on a large scale.

Am doing a complete research on Moserbaer Entertainment and sooner will write about there business model, whats there future plannings and each and every detail which i will get regarding it. So keep watching this blog if your interested to know how they are selling there products at such a low price point whereas its competitors are selling the same at higher prices and whether they are recovering there inputs.

Synopsis:
IT'S MISSION... MOHABBAT... MADNESS...

Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam is a mad, contemporary comedy about how a small town drama company gets involved in a deadly mission to save the country. Circa 1993 - The country was burning due to the Babri structure demolition and communal riots. A small town like St. Louise near Goa, where Police, CBI and RAW officers were out on high alert due to illegal activities like Rdx and Arms landing at the coastal area! Set up in the same town is Kalakar Theatre Company, a theatre group of self indulgent dreamy actors who are always left with no choice but to perform the same age old period play 'Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam' every time. One fine day, they come to know that, an underworld don is planning a severe bomb blast in the country. A funny and thrilling roller-coaster ride begins when the entire drama company designs 'A Deadly Game plan' and gets into the act to save the entire city from this blasts. Performing multiple roles in disguise, the characters make you go crazy and eventually, save the entire nation from the big bomb blast in a hilarious slapstick climax. It's a story of losers becoming winners... 'Actors' becoming 'Heroes' ...A comedy which thinks and winks!!!

My Conclusion: It is a dialogue comedy movie rather then a mindless one which are coming up this years and you have to hear the dialogues carefully while watching it, if you wanna laugh. However i liked the movie alot when watched it in theater but at home i didnt like it so much. And it has to face a tough critics rating after its release which also made it a disaster at box-office. However i still feel that it was not a such bad movie how it was rated upon by various critics and peoples can easily watch it, specially if your in a mood to relax by a light comedy after your daily tiring schedule. So i will recommend this for all those peoples who are really in a mood to relax by watching a light hearted comedy movie, but who wanna watch mindless comedies, they should avoid this movie.

Synopsis:

It is the story of Kabir, a carefree guy who has been studying engineering for the last ten years now, whose life goes for a sixer when he meets the quirky and kinky Kuhu

Kabir always wanted a girl to love but he never in his wildest dreams thought he would encounter a girl who could make him dance around circles, run semi naked, ride cycles without seats, wear high heeled ladies shoes…

My Conclusion: In simple words i would say that i really enjoyed the movie while i watching it. The movie really contains some very funny scenes like Ranvir Shorey riding a bicycle without seat and that too wearing a petticoat, but its not that everything is fine in the movie. Movie really lacks in script and after second half you will start feeling that same scenes are repeating. And after watching Pyar Ke Side Effects from the same banner i was hoping bit more from this movie but it fails in that point of expectation.Acting wise both actors were superb in there roles.Overall its a quite good movie for timepass and can be enjoyed with bunch of friends during evening.
